Hatchpen is a large house with a 3-phase supply and consumption of 60,000kWh a year. They required a solar PV system along with battery storage to power the house and reduce their energy bills.
Our Solution
Approaching Titan Eco it was determined that the best solution would be a ground mounted solar installation in an adjoining field. We installed 100 x JA Solar 410w panels with a 3 x 3-phase 10kW Huawei hybrid inverters and 30kWh of storage capacity.
With low generation and the batteries not set to off-peak charge the customers energy bills dropped by 36% in February. These savings will increase as we start to enter the longer warmer days of spring, summer and autumn.
The system will generate circa 40,000kWh a year and save the customer over £13,000kWh a year with a payback period of around 4-years.
